I AM A CHILD OF GOD
Who am I? This question was answered for me at an early age. I am a Child of God, and He sent me here, He sent me to an earthly home... My journey starts even before I came to this earth.
My Belif is that we are all children of God and that we lived as spirit children of a loving Heavenly Father and Mother, before we even came to this earth. I believe that Heavenly father and Mother have immortal, perfected bodies and are resurrected beings. We knew and could see this about them. We are spiritual children that came into existence from these perfected parents.
We have intelligence (intelligence for this purpose, meaning responding positively to the light of Christ and the ability to make choices). We lived with and knew Christ as our older brother and friend. We knew the love our Heavenly Father has for each one of us and we had a desire to become like him. We made choices and we grew in understanding. There were plans, goals, ideas made in this premortal place where we lived.
On one occasion Heavenly Father presented us all with a plan, that we come to earth to gain a physical body like he has. In that plan we would grow and learn, so we too could become like our Heavenly parents. Also in that plan we were to be tested and tried to see if we could find our way back home again, even though a vale of forgetfulness would be placed upon us.
While presenting this plan, Father called out for someone to come and be a Savior, or in other words, one who would show us the way to obtain this path back to Heaven. This call was answered by two: Jesus and Satan. Both presented ideas and plans to the Father of how they would help us achieve this plan. Satan presented a Sure-thing plan, one in which he would make sure we all returned to heaven no matter what; he would force Fathers will upon us to make sure this happened. Jesus presented a plan where we would have free agency and choices and would be tested and allow our intelligences to grow.
When Father announced that He chose Jesus' plan over Satan's then a war, so to speak, developed. Satan's plan was rejected and he got mad and jealous, so much so that Heavenly Father saw fit to cast him out of this premortal place. One third of the spirit children followed Satan and did not receive a chance to comne to this earth life and get a physical body. They are mad and have carried their war here, on earth, to those who followed the Savior's plan.
I accepted to follow the Savior's plan and thus my Journey began. Being born into a family of 11 children was no easy challenge, and being the 8th, a little girl, after six boys in a row was even more interesting.
My Father, having served in WWII as a Drill Sargent, was now a Banker when I was born. There was a picture of our large family in the paper with us all lined up from oldest to youngest. I never Knew why or how we got into the news. to be continued...

My Journey Home
On the move once again...
This seems to be my pattern sense I was 15teen years old. My journey home started when my dad lost his job at the bank. I was sent to live, with my Grandmother Wells and Uncle Art, in El Cajon, California. I lived there a year and a half.
Then to Simi Valley, California where I graduated High School. Then to Sepulveda, California where I became an official "Valley Girl" and landed my first job at 7-Eleven and then Bob's Big Boy Restaurant as a Hostess/Cashier.
Next I moved to South Pasadena California where I left for an LDS mission to Bermingham England and after a year and a half, back to South Pasadena. Then a move to Provo Utah where I worked and lived in an apartment with 5 other girls. Unable to get into Brigham Young University I decided to move back to South Pasadena where I married, in the Temple, and moved back to Provo so He could go to school.
In Provo we moved 3 times trying to stay ahead of the "raise the rent" game. After graduation we moved to San Jose California where we had 2 more babies, playmates for the 3 we already had. Four years and 3 moves later it was back to Utah and eight years of setteling in the Cache Valley.
I remember thinking as a growing youth, "All I want out of life is a happy marriage and home".
After a nasty divorce we moved from Mendon to Logan where I went to school and worked odd jobs. I took out student loans to keep us afloat. I was able to get some schooling in. Then 3 moves later met and married my 2nd husband. This moved us over the hill to West Valley City, Utah. From there to Taylorsville where I tried to establish a non-profit organization. (I hoped would help abused people heal)
Tragedy struck within the family and I moved to Michigan. Two moves there and off I went to Oregon where I found my Job as a School Bus Driver. A 2nd divorce and 2 moves in Oregon brought me back to Utah. Two more moves, then down to Georgia and quickly back to Utah whare I have moved twice already.
Well now! Was anyone counting? Thats about 37 moves in 43 years. What an adventure! From time to time I will post the fill in journey and my struggles to overcome emotional abuse. As I write this blog I find myself on the move once again toward my journey home...
(I invite you to share your journey and hope we can learn from each other)
